Becoming part of a church can seem very daunting if your not sure what you are signing yourself up for. A a result we have created a simple  workshop called Foundations to take you through the core elements of our church and so you can get to know more about us as a church. Which finishes with an in person meeting where we can get to know you and you can get to know one of our leaders and ask questions you may have.

What to expect

Our Sunday Celebration starts at 10:45 am with a warm welcome and a cup of freshly brewed coffee!
Celebrating is a big part of who we are. More than a reason to get together, it’s a way to meet new people and connect with others. Our services our God centered, seeking to encounter and meet him. There's worship, word and prayer. We do communion ever 6-8 weeks together as we also gather in the homes for communion most weeks.
Our services are Bi-lingual, so they are open to both English and Dutch speakers. Our aim is to make you feel right at home. Our team and translators are geared to make the service understandable and engaging for everyone regardless of the strength of your English or Dutch. If you can understand this you’ll be fine! Children between 4 and 12 years old are welcome to join our Kids church and enjoy a fun and interactive program lead by our dedicated kids team!
Parents with toddlers (0-3 years) are welcome in our “Bubbles” area that provides a safe environment. The area holds adequate and engaging toys and material for the little ones and a big screen that broadcasts the entire service.
Nursing mums can make use of our Nursery corner that provides also a changing table, diapers and baby wipes.

The mission of The Lighthouse Fellowship VZW is the same mission Jesus gave his followers: Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. 
The vision of The Lighthouse Fellowship VZW is create a community of authentic believers and to witness a city transformed by the life changing reality of the gospel, as people come to know Jesus as their lord and savior. 

Our Values

  • Family: We want you to feel like the church is your family. It takes time to feel at home but the hope is that it grows to feel like your living room.
  • Generosity: We strive to be generous in all things. Generous in grace and love and forgiveness. It helps us to be free flowing and to give space for others to grow. Treating others how we wish to be treated.
  • Excellence: We want everything we do to be with quality. Giving the best of what we have and doing the best with what we can have available to us. Its not perfectionism. Things wont always go the way we want but we strive to always do out best.
  • Life-giving: We want to build others up, create a space which is living giving for all.  Positive and negative feedback and constructive criticism is part of this but it needs to be for building up and creating life and progress.  We need to live with each other.
  • Honour: We want to respect and honour everyone. We are all equal at the foot of the cross and honour means treating everyone with respect. We honour each other by turning up on time, giving our best and being clear. It doesn’t matter our culture we honour people and respect them with our time, words and actions.
